FESTIVALS AIM & OBJECTIVES
1.1 To conduct fest for arts to promote and encourage the students talents in them and create more opportunity for
exposure.
1.2 To create opportunities for co-operation between different medical students, make able to respect each other’s. Expose
the hidden talents of dance, singing and other creative arts.
1.3 To make them self-confident by participating in the events and give them proper directions for making a good citizen of
India.
1.4 To know more about our cultural background, make them proud about it, knowing more India to make a strong India.
1.5 To create respect to different cultural background peoples from different parts of India.
BY LAWS
2.1
a) College means all affiliated homoeopathic medical colleges in the south India.
b) Judges means those who are responsible for deciding the winner
Objective: To converges all laws for controlling different laws for arts festival on colleges
Contest will be made for the items mentioned as “Annexure”
To ensure the participation of almost all students.
ALL THE UG STUDENTS AND PG STUDENTS CAN PARTICIPATE THOSE WHOSE HOUSESURGENCY OR INTERNSHIP PERIOD
DOES NOT END BEFORE JULY 31 CAN PATICIPATE.THE STUDENTS WHO ARE AWAITING THEIR RESULT CAN ALSO
PARTICIPATE.
ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD PRESENT THEIR UNIVERSITY ID CARD AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.
2.3 The participants must send their name of college, address of student, University ID no, photograph to
ballerina2k18@gmail.com
2.4 There must be a separate appeal committee to finalize any complaints regarding the judgment of any item.
2.5 Appellate committee will contain Appeal Committee Chairman, Appeal Committee member, General convener and joint
convener.
2.6 A college can send 3 participants for single items and one team for group items.
2.7 A student can participate in a maximum of 4 individual stage events. No such restrictions are placed for group events.
2.8 An Appeal Fee of Rs.1000/- will be levied for Appeals made by a participant/team.
2.9 The above said fee will be refundable when the appeal finds to be a success by the appellate committee
2.10 Students and college authorities are banned for any type of press release or complaints against the appellate
committee.
2.11 The appellate committee is authorised to take action against a student/ college, for any misbehaviour or action against
the rules.
2.12 The application for participation in university level shall be specific. Address of the winner, item, and university ID no,
signature of the student counter signed by the convenor/ principal of the institution.
3.1There shall be different sub committees for the conduct of program.
3.2 The organising committee shall be the authority to receive any complaints regarding the fest and can call for any
documents related at any time.
3.3 Student Action Council is authorised to take action against any student or college for misbehaviour or any action against
the functioning of the program.
3.4 Conduct of the program shall be the responsibility of Programme committee. For assistance sub committees can be
formed where the program is conducting.
3.5 Jury committee shall decide the panel of judges and there shall be separate judges for each program. Judges shall be
experienced, having good past record and shall not be a relative of any of the participating students in that particular item.
3.6 There shall be maximum three judges for each item. If the difference of marks is 20% more/less that will be discarded
and the remaining judges‟ average marks shall be taken. If all the marks differ with 20%, then the less difference two shall
be considered.
3.7 Registration for the competition shall be done in advance with ID proof and photo identity card.
3.8 University ID card is a must for all participants and other students, if on demand they have to show for verification.
3.9 For group items 10 points,6 points and 2 points for 1st,2nd and 3rd positions respectively. For individual items 5 points,3
points,1 point for 1st,2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
3.10 There shall be overall championship considering all points of a college.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Participants should report at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the programme
2. The university ID card should be presented at the time of the reporting without fail
3. Participants will be strictly disqualified in case of failure to report on stage after third call
4. Food and accommodation will be provided by the organising committee
The date of registration will be from 15th June to 25th June 2018
